Tasneem's Background in dance started at a young age. She has studied many styles including salsa, swing, and her
native Cherokee dances. Tasneem unique dance style comes through in her teaching, and she loves inspiring others to
follow their inner soul and let the music lead them into the dance. Tasneem teaches American Cabaret and American
Tribal Style, with the use of props such as sword, veil, cane and zills.
My Students learn the ancient dance in a supportive, non competitive environment with opportunity for growth and

Beginner Classes focus of frame, technique, and timing. You will learn how to breakdown each movement and commit it to your
dance memory.
Intermediate Classes focus on combinations, transitions, and choreography. You will continue with technique and frame and build
upon your foundation to create seamless combos and start an understanding of choreography breakdown.
Advance Classes focus on the above lessons and add layering and control.
Zills and Drum focus on the music rhythm patterns of the dance. You will learn how to play your zills along with the drum,
accenting and adding to the music and dance. You will also learn to play the drum rhythms to help you understand more of the music
you are dancing to.
Strength and Stretch Class focuses on building the major muscles groups needed to perform the dance. We build the Quads and
Abs while working on frame and technique.
Costume Classes teach you how to create the beautiful costumes in which we dance. Tasneem shares her knowledge of beading,
cloth, and fitting to help you build the costume of your dreams.
Teen Classes allow our young ladies to have a structured outlet with friends without concerns for safety or content. Tasneem the
mother of two teens understands that girls just want to be girls. Here they learn in a non competitive environment with the
opportunity for performance and growth. They learn new choreography each session while emphasizing frame technique, and
presence.
