| Historic Information The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has been hosting their cook-off event for over 25 years. It was started by Sheriff Sherman Block and other Chili-heads and it has grown with each year. Five years ago the Sheriff's Department join together with the Santa Clarita Special Olympics to turn this great tradition into a fund-raising event to assist the wonderful children who benefit from this organization. . |

I-5 North to Castaic, exit Parker Road.
Head East on Parker Rd. to Castaic
Road and turn Right. Continue on
Castaic Rd. which turns into Tapia
Canyon Road. Please follow the event
signs to the parking officers. Enjoy the
